A lot of it is trial and error, which is why it's hard for me to explain too much. I basically played with alignments & measurements until I hit upon something I liked. I guess I know you have to do 'something' to css to change it from being a vertical list but everything I tried (not being an expert) has failed. I might be getting my divs confused :( lol I am spending more time trying to work this out than I am reading and writing about the books! thanks for replying. It was all achieved by coding, though, which isn't something I can easily explain.
