Oh yeah, I know I can request anything from the Lakeland Library Cooperative - I think there are closer to 40 libraries participating. I just wish they had a convenient way to maybe keep a list of books for future reading attached to your library number. Then when you like, you could just click a button and it would search the database to see if any of the books you're interested in are available, and have it shipped to your library of choice. They can already accomplish something similar with holds, but I wouldn't want all of the books right now - I rarely check out more than 2 or 3 books at a time, because unless I'm actively reading it I don't want to just sit on it and prevent others from reading it. If they could introduce a "book watch", like a pre-hold, that would be great.

You do realize that the Kent District Library has over 20 different libraries they work with, right? That if a book is at another library, you can have it shipped to your library of choice. And I'm not sure, but they may also be hooked up to MelCat. Basically, if you have access to MelCat, you have access to about 40+ libraries throughout Michigan. I love it.
